  I see why people are rating them so low just called to make an inquiry regarding an account and the lady who answered is so incompetent that its not even funny. Thank God for the warning lady. I will stick with Wells.

  This review is written for my 87 year old grandmother. She had a terrible experience at this branch and no way to leave a review so here it is in her words.
  
  I have been to this branch on numerous occasions because it is very convenient and close to my home and am able to take the bus to get there. I opened my chase account here at this branch many years ago and had no problems but this last time was very different and unprofessional. My ID expired and I needed to withdraw some money from my account. I have come to this same branch before and explained my expired Id and they have asked me several questions to verify my identity, of course it is me and the transaction usually goes smoothly. This particular instance I went to the teller line and explained my situation as I normally do and was told I could not be helped because I had an expired ID card. I am an older woman and can't make it to the DMV to renew it whenever I want, I need to work around my family members and haven't been able to do so. After explaining that and saying I will verify any questions they have for me, I was again told there was nothing the teller can do for me and that only the manager can help me. So I sat down in the lobby and waited over 20 minutes for the manager. When the manager approached I again explained my situation and he told me that without a new ID card there was nothing he could do for me. They would not verify details on my account to prove it was me, they did not want to help me at all. I wasted over an hour in this bank and then another hour or 2 to take the bus back home.. to not even resolve my problem, I was treated very rudely and I really don't understand...I have done this before at this same branch. My granddaughter has worked for financial institutions before and they have procedures around withdrawals and balance inquiries when someone's ID has expired. To not help me at all was unprofessional and very rude. The only reason I even opened a chase account was because of the convenience and now that's gone. I will be closing all of my accounts with Chase as soon as I'm able. Don't go to this branch unless you want a headache!
