  Terrible treatment, terrible results ! When my daughter was advised to see an orthodontist, we brought her to Dr Angelakis and Cronauer because we had a friend who had been happy with the care. After evaluation and recommendation for braces the payment plans were also reviewed. By paying the full amount up front there was a significant savings and we opted to take advantage. During the almost two years of treatments, making appointments was extremely difficult ( even though I never left an appointment without making the next one), and she had to miss a ton of school, but as importantly, her brackets repeatedly fell off, occasionally needing to go to the office 3x in 1 week, and of course missing school each time. They must be using very poor glue or never put the brackets on properly. After a while they became increasingly rude and hostile to her and me when we needed to come in for a broken bracket and blamed it on my daughter. I’ve had 2 other kids go through braces with another much much better orthodontist in the area ( Dr John Marchetto!!) and neither of them had any problems with brackets coming off ever, let alone often. I regret terribly not using what had worked well for the first two kids! In any case when her braces finally came off, my daughter’s teeth were still not lined up well not perfectly straight. In fact far from it! I had voiced concerns about them not looking straight for several visits before the end, yet Dr Angelakis kept saying that it was kind of an illusion and that the teeth were straight and when the braces were off it would look perfect.
  Well they did not and NEVER were straight, despite thousands of dollars and plenty of time! They never gave her a permanent retainer for the bottom, ( like most orthodontist do now) and only gave her a flimsy Upper and lower plastic tooth guard, which they called a retainer. Of course her teeth began to shift with a matter of a few weeks. Dr Angelakis again dismissed my concerns and honestly, I was not interested in her trying to fix a problem she couldn’t manage in the first place. We went to Marchetto who did his best to correct the problems as best he could without putting on braces again, which she did not want! If we had not paid up front we definitely would have left this practice after a couple of months. In retrospect we should have anyway, even if we ended up paying twice! I would not recommend Dr Angelakis for anything!
